My approach helps you learn how to develop a healthy relationship with yourself and implement supportive strategies when navigating difficult situations (stress, anxiety, depression, and more) or complex emotions. I provide psychotherapy services to individuals and couples ready for a change. I am here to be a safe space to clients of all genders, ethnicities, and sexual orientations.
My method of therapy is tailored to work at your pace. The therapy process is different for each client. It is not always easy, so there may be times when things feel worse before they start to feel better. That is why I intentionally pace my sessions and check in with my clients to make sure they are in a place where they feel ready to discuss sensitive topics.

“Whyscounselor” is what I realized my clients needed to help them address the “why” questions that emerge during therapy. The “whys” are ways we attempt to make sense out of things that don’t always make sense to us.
Why did this person treat me this way?
Why am I so anxious?

Why doesn't anyone understand?
Why do I feel so sad?
Why do I want to give up?
Why can't I focus?
These questions don’t always have definitive answers but through the therapy process you can discover the answers that have been inside you.
